Wood Duck

I must admit...

This photo was not taken out in the wild, but in the outdoor aviary of the Virginia Aquarium. All the inhabitants of the aviary are rescued birds.

In nature, I see Wood Ducks along the wooded edge of a pond, usually hiding from me and my camera.
