canoe mission

i have never spent as much time in a canoe as i did today. spent almost 5 hours on a river with 30 mph and our friend jon. the upshot of being in a canoe with two able bodied boys is that they didn't really expect me to help paddle (i promise that i volunteered to help!). i got to spend the trip sitting in the middle and relaxing. not a bad gig.
