It's beginning to look a lot....

...like Christmas.

December 3rd and the Christmas cactus is beginning to bloom. My Mum bought me this plant back in 1988 after the one she previously bought me died. So, this plant has been through a large chunk of my adult life. It's seen many comings and goings. Happy, sad and indifferent but the first bloom always makes me smile...and remember my Mum.
