Partaaay!

Most weeks I don't do a whole lot at the weekend.

I go to Mass.

I hang out with friends.

I walk the dog.

Fun stuff.

Enjoyable stuff.

But not kind of 'out there' stuff.

Tonight I had so many options! I was spoilt for choice.

My flatmate was celebrating her 60th birthday with a party at our place. Lots of her friends and family descended. I stayed for a while to meet and greet and then I went to my next engagement.

It was also G's 21st Birthday Party. Now, it's been a while since I went to one of those, being as old as I am. However ... What a blast! There was a 16-piece swing band and the theme was 40s/50s. I didn't exactly dress up but had a nice dress which suited that period so that was all good.

This is R, she was the star of the show with her uniform and hairdo.

A great night. Let's just say that at 4am, I was go through the MacDonald's drive-through with a couple of friends.

No alcohol was consumed all night so I woke up tired but not hungover.
