The Washington State Noxious Weed Control Board has listed the English Ivy as a Noxious Weed. There are rumours that Bradford Council may soon be following this policy. I was struck by the death agony of one tree, holding it's hand up in supplication as I witnessed the slow motion strangulation happening in front of my eyes.
