Daisies in the wind

I've had my eye on these daisies for a while now. They are growing wild along the side of the road, and every time I go past them, I remind myself to take a photo that afternoon. Many afternoon's have passed, so today I decided to walk down the road to take my photo for blip.

Farmerboy tells me that as a kid, these flowers were known as 'Dog Daisies'. He's not sure why they got this name. Perhaps if there is anyone out there that knows why, then they wouldn't mind passing it on. Thanks.
