Pushing Fluids

So I'm supposed to give 300cc of subQ fluids to Sammy for the next 3-4 days. Last night I was able to properly pop his skin and insert the needle. Well, he must have been very docile from all the other pokes he was getting because tonight he didn't take that at all! It doesn't help that it's an 18 gauge needle either...

Well, that plan got diverted and I wasted yet more money.

Moral of the story, don't give cats ibuprofen!

Update (12/2): Sammy is doing great. His blood work came back completely normal the night of the accident. He's a few weeks out now and is doing just as well as ever!
