sneaking around

-I was sneaking around to the back of the house via the side door, to try and photograph a large Great Blue Heron that had just landed on the top of the boat lift.

Well, he was off and flying before I even got near! They have a nest not too far down the river. This was my attempt at a "just in case I caught him flying" shot, oh well. No such luck. I have photographed them many times before, but they do not often come into our canal. Beautiful birds!
