Sunset Rainbow

I was lucky to see an ephemeral rainbow display this afternoon while riding my bike between rain showers.

The setting sun with its low angle and warm colors added to the surreal feel of the rainbow as the next squall moved in.

Arctic air is flowing down onto us tonight.

It’ll be a pleasant change to have a bit of real winter with the possibility of a skiff of snow here on the Willamette Valley floor.
