Elsie's Buttons

Besides the solution to the Tooth Fairy problem mentioned by emhowl, we were reminded of Elsie's contributions to the Charity Shop. These were many but included the removal from unsaleable items of any buttons, which she neatly mounted on card, priced and displayed on cork noticeboards. They were very popular and shop developed a regular clientele for them.

The volunteers also found this useful - as witness these, that I came across while rummaging in my sewing drawer today. Just wish I could remember what they were for!
