Our blustery day yesterday turned into quite a blustery evening with wind and rain. Still quite a few clogged and flooded street drains around the neighborhood from the final leaves having been blown down. Hail and sunshine right now. Snow is apparently next on the menu...

The trusty winter boots I've had for years are literally disintegrating off my feet. Sadly the manufacturer no longer makes the same design so a search for an alternative has begun.

Hubby baked apple turnovers last night. He added huckleberries and lingonberries to the apple which was a delicious mixture. He makes these turnovers from time to time and they are so good, he uses dairy-free pastry so I can enjoy them without worry. I had intended to use one of the turnovers for a blip but we went a bit mad and ate them all before any photographs could be taken. :-)
