Colored Metal

The ornaments are out of their box and on display for another year. While I was going to wait until closer to Christmas to shoot them, I was busy today with various things and ran out of time to capture any photos other than what was around the apartment. These ornaments, like many other things in our possession, started in Mexico, traveled to the United States as souvenirs and then came full circle when we brought them back. What was different then, is commonplace now and we find ourselves doing the reverse, buying things in the United States that we can't find here and bringing them down when we travel (though truth be told, most of those items are foodstuffs with an occasional favorite article of clothing). Keeps our suitcases full and helps the airlines make money.
