Blea Tarn

Having escaped from yesterday's attack of the giant cakes and having failed miserably to get up at dawn, we headed off to the National Trust car park at Blea Tarn. The Big Stopper finally made its debut whilst Mark nearly froze to death during the proceedings. Was again amazed at the fact that there were people swimming despite the rather arctic temperatures - perhaps the showers at the nearby campsite were out of order!
