Lantern parade.

A lovely day today. Finished off our Christmas lanterns for the parade and the lights switch on tonight. They are..........well the twins love them anyway. Last year I will be making them as from next I have told them I will help them but they can make them themselves.

Mid afternoon I was at Paul's doing a spot of rehearsing with Ben ready for singing on the seafront before the Lyme Pudding race a week today. Added 2 songs and changed one so no pressure there then lol

This evening was lovely, Jayne, Annette and I headed up with all the children for the judging of lanterns. Joshua came first in his age group and then as the only group to enter the groups category ( *cringe ) Jayne, Annette and myself came first and won a cup and £10. The money has been added to our sponsor for the race on sat and we will have joint custody of the cup!!! The parade was lovely and as per usual made me cry, we were advertising the race on the way down too giving out leaflets and dressed in our team costumes. After the lights were switched on, looking great as always (the light's not us ) we headed back to Annette's for a Chinese and a few drinks. Once it was time for the children's bed Fern (she had joined us later) and I headed home for a silly giggly night which has left me with mystery bruises and an achy belly from laughing so much. Brilliant.
