Belgium Mums
Don't know why they're called Belgium Mums and not Belgium Dads.
"Over the low horizon
The hero came to town
Battle-scarred from distant lands
Where he fought, and seldom lost
The town unfurled the banners
The band struck up a tune
Medals glinted on his chest
The hero, once more, was home
'The war, my friends
has no victors, no choosers
Only losers
Oh, the medals and the glory
Seem to fade from my story
When I think of the fear and the pain
All in all, it's a general's game:
Once the maps have been drawn
All is lost,
All the mothers are crying in vain'"
