Press up challenge
I've been doing some fitness challenges with friends. There was the 30 day squat challenge which finished yesterday with 175 squats and wasn't too bad. Body weight only, but then I have more of that than is ideal.
The December challenges are the plank (finishing with a 5 minute plank) and burpees (building up to 100). Hmmmm....
And then there's the press up challenge. This is what faces me on Wednesday. I couldn't finish the last set of 36 today without a couple of breaks, so I'm not hopeful of success. I've got to this stage in the challenge a couple of times and there comes a day when I look at the numbers, think "not a chance" and ditch it. Must try harder...
