Sunrise Over Helliness

The sunrise was stunning this morning but soon changed, wind picked up and rain showers in the afternoon.

A strange day at work with really busy spells and then suddenly quiet spells. We had the home school children in today and never realised how many got home school up here, 18 that turned up but there is more. Don't like the idea of home school but each to their own.

This was the sunrise over Helliness, Cunningsburgh this morning. Helliness is one of my favourite places in Shetland, a headland that stretches out into the North Sea and a walk away from where I grew up. Many a happy walk there :) Taken from Aithsetter.
