Atlantic Highway

We took a bus trip along the Atlantic Highway, fortunately we had a Norwegian friend with us who was able to explain our plans to the driver. We got off the bus and had a gentle meander back along the road exploring the coast line . The walk lasted about two hours which was fine as we stopped a lot to take photos of the amazing scenery.

Having said that this photo was taken while we were still on the bus. Stunning road to travel along with several twisty bridges like this one. I was wearing my seat belt but leaning into the aisle to get the shot through the windscreen while trying to avoid including the driver and the very large wing mirror. John on the other hand was hanging on very tightly, hairpin bends and helter skelter road bridges are defiitely not for him.
