On the Mantlepiece.

Following my Blip yesterday at the Cycling Club Christmas Lunch, I can proudly report that I won a cup. I am the winner of the Crash Trophy for 2013! This was awarded for my nose dive over the handlebars into the canal a couple of weeks ago. It was adjudged to have been the best bike crash this year by a club member.

I am also admiring a cartoon by my friend Neil Dishington (Dish) and a photo taken of me wringing out my gloves immediately after being fished out of the drink.

There are now three club members who have taken a dip in various canals and a new society was formed yesterday - the Stickleback Club.

Ah, happy days...
