Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Daughter and Son-in-Law

This is our daughter and our son-in-law. These two have been separated for about a year-and-a-half. We're not even sure if they have divorced or just made their situation a legal separation. They have stayed friends throughout this time and they are in daily communication, but we've been a combination of hopeful and doubtful as to their future. So we were absolutely elated when our daughter told us that our son-in-law was going to join us on California's Central Coast for this year's Thanksgiving Celebration.

They both arrived today. She drove up from our community in the Inland Empire and he drove down from his place in the San Francisco Bay region. They are staying together at a bed & breakfast just a couple of blocks from our place. We told them they were welcome to stay with us.

We had a fun day together walking and looked-louing through some of the antique shops and the "Brown Butter Cookie Store." This evening we all went for dinner at the Sea Shanty and ate on the outdoor patio near one of the heaters. The Sea Shanty is one of the best restaurants in this community. The owners seem to always be there and always are friendly.

Good night from California's Central Coast on the Eve of Thanksgiving.

P.S. This is back-blipped because I could not get Blipfoto to upload my photo from my iPhone. The app kept telling me my photo was taken "in the future." Good grief!
