'Fifteen Pairs of Hands' is an installation of bronze hands sculptures by Bruce Nauman currently showing at the National Gallery of Art in Washington.

I forget sometimes how much our hands are such a mean of communication. I was reminded after seeing this installation and watching my Mom using her hands a lot, trying to communicate in a country foreign to her, with the little English she knows.
