First Light on Mt Cook

Mt Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand, standing at 3754m. I was out first thing to capture the sunrise, but because it was quite cloudy, the peak was sunny for only a few minutes.

I am at home now, just have to get the washing done and the mail sorted. It's a lovely sunny day here in Wanaka. The lupins on the roadside and rivers were simply beautiful.
