Feeding by hand

Today is December the first and also another first for chippy and me! I saw him outside the patio doors today and decided to try and see if he might come to me and take the peanuts from my hand. I followed KevinV's advice and held my hand out and kept it still. Chippy sniffed the air and came over. He put his tiny little paws on my hand and started to stuff his cheeks full. He made a couple of trips. I then got some hazel nuts which frustrated him a little as he could only manage one at a time! A special day and hopefully a new bonding with this sweet little fellow. A Big Thank you to Edward who actually took the picture today and captured this special moment!
