Ferrybridge

A lovely sunny morning turned grey as we decided to walk around Fairburn. It's still a great walk on the cusp of North Yorkshire with the line of coal-fired stations marching off into the horizon from Ferrybridge. The birds singing and the sun occasionally glinting on the Ings.

A stop for refreshment at the Three Horse Shoes and home for a nap.

Then, An evening of song at the Red Kite, with a late dinner with Mal and Steve. Excellent day.
