A Flying Visit

What a day !

Up at 5am. Two hours drive to Barcelona. Then another hour in traffic getting across the city to the airport (which we realised later wasn't necessary!). Had to go to the Easyjet office at the airport to arrange to check in two extra bags once I realised I hadn't pre-booked them. Then a flight to Gatwick. Then we picked up our rental car to get to Claire's wedding. We only had time to stop at a services for lunch, and ended up changing in a queit spot in the car park. We arrived at the wedding with ten minutes to go! We only had three hours in total to spend at the wedding and at the reception before having to head back to Gatwick to get our flight back to Edinburgh. That landed at 10:30pm and Anne's dad picked us up from the airport. Got to bed about midnight. We were all totally shattered!
