I brought back something from Sheffield I didn't mean to!

No, not a wonderful cherub of a grandson,
no ,not an angelic granddaughter,
no, not a lovely daughter,
no, not even a wonderful chef of a son-in law,
no, the three adorable cats wouldn't have got on well with Ali, that would have been silly of me!

Not half as silly as bringing back the cold that laid Rachel and Daniel low! I hope they're feeling better. I have to work today, socialising with those who have given up smoking in favour of vaping and showing them our products. I'm trying not to cough!

Into the evening I am entertaining a friend with an imminent birthday. I'm trying not to fall asleep!
