slide races

daddy was at work so me and the babies took a trip to a park i had spotted a few weeks ago. the funny thing is this one is a minutes walk from a big park on a boating lake that has had lots of money spent on it and is always busy, but this is just a basic one but very quite and also everything was at great levels for both babies.

once out the car it took me a few minutes to get hat, coats and gloves on times 3! once we were all ready we headed onto the park. they had lots of fun playing races on the slide, calebs 'ready, steady, go!' is very clear i just wished he would go as soon as he said it, dont think he won one race :)
the big climbing frame had a few under neth sections that we did some great role playing with, think in the 45 minutes we were at a school, shop, pirate ship and doctors :)

we nipped to get our secret santa presents for next week then headed off to mamma and grandads house for a quick visit. grandad took pity on us and sent us home with some homemade shepherds pie witch was so lovely, and the bonus was it was a great, hearty , meal for when daddy got home.
