And the countdown begins....

Lottie has been so excited that we were nearly in December so she could start her countdown. The 1st coincided with a convenient day to put the tree up so we have spent virtually all day decking up!

The Murray grotto is almost complete, just a few bits to finish off! Lottie did a lot of it this year, she is growing up so fast. She has a little tree in her room (pink of course) and when we first got it it was as big as she was, but this year it looks silly next to her.

Found myself getting very tearful a couple of times through the day - I love Christmas but this one is going to be tough. I can't help thinking back to this time last year, seeing my dad suffering, the emotional days before and after he passed away. It is also coming up to my mum's anniversary.

I just keep telling myself that they both loved Christmas too, would want us to enjoy it, and that we won't have many more years of the magic of Christmas while Lottie still believes.
