Birthday Boy

Hi Tom

We have been out all day celebrating Stuarts 70th birthday. I don't think he looks his age at all. Maybe it's the not having children to worry about that keeps him looking young. The fact that he's loaded helps a bit as well.

We started off the day drinking champagne. It was nice to meet Stuarts friends he went to school with. One has his own helecopter, another has an antiques business, another was a judge, all very interesting. There were 40 of us altogether.

Then we had a very nice three course meal and more drink. A few people said some kind things and Stuart made a nice speech.

Then it was more drink and more mingling with the other guests.

We came home with other friends who had been invited and broke out the cheese, pate, breads, biscuits and more drink.

It's been a bit of a boozy but very enjoyable day today.

By the way, I've filled the advent calendar with chocolates and yours are all ready and awaiting your return....two weeks and I'll have you back home :) x
