'Tis the season....

to be jolly! This shot is of the village hall in Mintlaw this afternoon before the community carol singing in the Square. This has been an annual event in the village since our Christmas lights were first put up in 2000 after a local fund-raising campaign. Carols, then mulled wine and mince pies, or tea and shortbread, whatever takes your fancy. It always fills me with festive spirit, and a rosy glow, as well as reminding me how much I still have to do before the big day!
