How many sleeps mummy?

So today starts the count down until Santa comes. I was up early, well early enough for a Sunday, 8.30am. I had a leisurely breakfast and then mummy and I started running round and doing lots.

We went to Dobbies to have a look at their Santa grotto and pick up some special bags. We then popped in to Sainsburys to get some lunch, grandma's papers and rolls for Grandads work lunch. I had a quick snooze while, mummy nipped home for our surprise for Grandma and Grandad. It's a special boozy advent calendar with a few funnies along the way. Today she got a mini bottle of red wine to have with her dinner.

When we arrived at Grandma and Granddad's the surprise was on me. There was lots of sparkly lights and a huge tree - in their livingroom! I helped grandma put some candy canes on the tree. There was a clock this palsy Christmas tunes and a special musical light show that has little dancers. I was very interested in the lights and music.

I then found my collection tin from two weeks ago, so I put it on and put my hand out for pennies. Mummy and Grandma laughed that I remembered what it's for, well of course. I liked putting my Santa hat on too.

I found a cake in a wee bag but I couldn't get in to it. I left a few teeth marks on it, the odd finger hole and big chunk out of it, but it was still in the bag. Next time...

So now it's off to tell the fairies all about my Grandmas house. They had little fairies on the lights and everything. grandad said there is still more to come. Oh can't wait. My little bit of chocolate this morning was great, 23 to go? Think I can manage that.
