pressing

We joined in with Claire's juice pressing today. Mattie was knackered and off school so it was nice he could be there. And were very pleased with our 20 litres of apple juice (I forgot the ginger in the hurry to leave). The children did our 2 sacks of apples in the last press and chopped and folded and pumped and drained all by themselves. And dipped their fingers in round the edges of the press to suck up the last drops. Lovely afternoon. Zoomed back to school to collect Cyann who disappeared into the woods with Mattie and a torch. They always have such good adventures.
