Christmas Lego and Advent Calendars

It's the first of December so we are now allowed to use the C word so we're all Christmas Lego and Advent Calendars here. I'm sure I've left a calendar in the loft but I'll find it when I go up to get the Christmas films and music - I like to do my Christmas prep in stages.
Today included a quick trip to Ikea - managed to go straight to what I wanted, no faffing about, and only came home with a panda and some ginger bread houses that hadn't been on the shopping list - a first for me! The rest of the day was spent with a tube of polyfilla and a filling knife preparing the kitchen to be painted. If all goes to plan by this time next week I should have a kitchen with a fresh coat of paint and a bit of a face lift. Since we seem to have moved in there it is much needed.
Christmas tree decorating with children at work tomorrow - I think it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
