My Little Ponies...........

Believe it or not I once part owned a Shetland pony with my young brother.My father went on a business trip to the Shetland Isles in the 60's and told my mum that he was going to bring back a pony from the trip she threatened him not too, but a week or two after he returned a horse-box turned up and deposited a beautiful pony in the field at the back of our house We named him Beauly after the town he came from. I don't think my mum ever got over it but we had the pony for quite a few years till we grew too big. He was given to a younger neighbour and lived too a good age.
