South Cave
Today we travelled up to South Cave with Emma to clear out my mother’s room at the care home. We met Beryl at Drewton’s Farm Shop for lunch first, and then set about the task.
I had already been through a similar exercise at her house when she went into the care home, this should be easier. Unfortunately my mother was a hoarder and never threw anything away. We now have a room full of photo albums, cards and general stuff going back to her childhood; it will take a while to sift through, all very nostalgic.
Before lunch Ann and I took Dylan for a walk, this is a scene from a public footpath we found between Drewton’s and South Cave.
