Veronica Guerin

I stumbled into this memorial while wandering the streets of Dublin today. Had jumped off the bus from the airport thinking I knew where I was, but proceeded to go round in circles for about an hour.
It did give me a chance to pass by this statue of Irish journalist, Veronica Guerin. She was murdered in 1996 by members of a drug gang, sparking an outcry in Ireland and leading to changes in the law to help crack down on tackling organised crime.
