Good Morning

A beautiful morning in Holme Fen; it's a rare and isolated remnant of fen habitat lying at the lowest most westerly point of the East Anglian fen basin.

Apparently it is noted for the species of fungi, over 500 have been recorded. We saw 3 so I guess we will have to go back.

Holme Fen is the largest lowland birch woodland in the UK; as you can see the colours were spectacular.
