Hmmm, a bit of a mixed reception on the Proust Questionnaire. I don't intend to use it on all my subjects, I just thought I'd throw it in there, see what happens...

Anyway, onto today - Here is Sofia, a Sicilian. It was her colourful headphones and hat combination which caught my eye on this drab, dull day.

She told me she made the hat herself, it’s pure wool and took her about two weeks. I asked if she made anything for other people,

“No, people have asked but I hardly get the time”
“What do you do?”
“I'm a dancer”
"What type of dance?"
"Hmmm, mainly contemporary"
“Can you do a dance pose for me now?”

She laughed at my suggestion, thinking it probably outrageous and embarrassing on the street, so I didn't push for it (though it would have been rather cool I think).
