Cheeky Cow

I can't believe it's December already - where has this year gone? It's 4 months since we left Belgium and whilst we miss it, we've really settled here in Brighton and have met some lovely people.

This morning I took Louis for a walk over the hill into Rottingdean and back via the undercliff walk. I met up with Majicmoments who said he'd got a homoeopathic remedy which would help mine and Alan's injuries and kindly offered to let me have them. I laughed as he handed over the packet and said people would think he was my drug dealer!

When I got back Alan and I went to the garden centre to buy some heavy duty covers for the garden furniture, after which we went to Stanmer Park for a walk. In the village we passed a farm with a paddock where there was a huge black bull and three heifers, with three very young calves. I love the unusual colour of this one, and it's cheeky look.

After our walk we went for a hot chocolate in Stanmer House where it felt very Christmassy with the fires burning and the Christmas decorations and tree up, it was lovely. Anyway, we're home now, the fire's on and I'm about the start the Sunday roast - we've got lamb shanks for tonight, not veal :-)
