The french wine alphabet

At the "Salon des vins des Vignerons Indépendants" in Paris, with approx. 1'000 independent wine-growers presenting themselves their products. My wife has received a free entry ticket for 2 persons, and we took the opportunity to visit this exhibition for the first time.

On the way there we wondered, how the stalls will be organised. Entering then the hall was breathtaking ... almost endless rows, sorted by alphabet (here the J, K, L section on the picture) and then differenct colour codes by wine-growing area.

Next question: where do start ? We decided to take the initial letter of our names and and dig degust a bit deeper in two areas. With success, bringing home (only) 9 bottles, as our carrying capacity was restricted. The more experienced visitors brought their luggage cart with them.
