Domestic flights in Indonesia are always a 'life in hands' situation. Colleagues have told me in the past about flights where the turbulence was so bad they started doing the cross on their chests and prayed for death to come quickly.

This one passed without incident, but I thought a plane was worthy of a blip seeing as though I spend so many of my waking hours on one or waiting to board one.

As it was a Sunday at 6am I sat back and chilled out to some music, trying to forget about how 1960s the plane had looked from the outside.
