Moon Festival details

The link above provides the details but more importantly we get the day off tomorrow. What people do is go to the beach or an open area where they can see the full moon. They have a picnic, light some candles and sit under the same moon as their loved ones and think of them. What was very different from the UK was that it was not an occasion to sit and get drunk under the stars. It was very much a family event


This was us down on the beach (along with many other people), We left about 9pm but many more people were making their way there. We wil be better prepared next year.
