Gravestones, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park

The park was one of the 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries opened up in the early Victorian era to alleviate the problems of trying to bury bodies in the overflowing churchyards within London.

Burials ceased in 1966 and the cemetery was turned into a nature reserve in 2000.
