hanging on the side of a church -

catching my attention - as i drove by - shining in the sunlight - simple and true...

what does the cross represent for you? to some - it's nothing: a mere symbol that hangs around their neck - to others: it's a sign of their religion - to a few: it affirms faith, christianity, all that jesus suffered as he took on the sins of the world - to a handful: it is offensive, perhaps a mockery...

it amazes me something so simple - elegant - unique - can have so many different meanings and interpretations to so many of us - yet that's the beauty of the human population - what draws us all together in the end -

for me - the cross symbolizes the love god bestowed upon us through his son, jesus - and so i see much beauty and glory every time i lay eyes on one - this cross being no exception - as it glittered through the stained glass - the sun reflecting - causing me to pause in appreciation for whomever had taken the time to create it - so i could experience...
