Into darkness

So December tomorrow and we are entering into the midwinter phase; the winter solstice is three weeks away.

TSM and I spent the day making the house nice ready for Christmas then went to Syon Park for the after dark experience, with the house and grounds all lit up. Rather beautiful place. But I got very cold and wrapped myself in a blanket and drank brandy when we got home.

Might have to hibernate this year.
