Rusty

I call our red squirrel Rusty. There may be more than one but I call all the reds the same because they have a beautiful rust-coloured coat and I never see more than one at a time (plus I can't find any other distinguishing marks or features to identify individuals).

Every one of these super-cute little devils have little squeaky freak-outs when startled. The chipmunks and other squirrels are used to me coming out to toss some nuts or seeds out. Not reds. Nope. I get scolded. So it goes...
