Wedding

At a wedding today. This beautiful hall is in a local boys school and has been the setting for several weddings that we have attended over the years. This was taken as friends of the couple were setting up the reception.

The groom was legless by 12 o'clock. The bride wasn't in much better shape as she required a nose job this morning. But thanks to a capable friend who came to the rescue, and with the deft positioning of a few cocktail sticks and some butter icing, the bride and groom were both fine and ready to sit on top of the cake. Phew!

Thankfully, the real couple (as opposed to the cake decoration couple) were in much better shape, just married and off on honeymoon.
