Nutcracker

Since My son was little I've bought a Christmas Decoration each year with him in mind. For the last couple of years he's helped to choose what we buy. This year, thanks to the little Pop-up shop that's opened in Charmouth for the Winter Season, this is what he chose. I think the Toy Soldier caught his eye, he wasn't so sure about getting the ballerina, but they came as a pair.

The Nutcracker ballet is an old family favourite and I can remember being taken to see it as a child near Christmas. It's lovely to be continuing a seasonal tradition with my son and we will now have to track down a copy of the film to watch in the next couple of weeks.
