Sparkling in the City

The Merchant City in Glasgow is always a beautiful place but in the dark it sparkles with glamour. I love that in this blip the light reflects on the pavements casting long shadows of the people and buildings.

The area known as 'Merchant City' in Glasgow was developed from the 1750s onwards. It comprises original residences and warehouses of the wealthy merchants of Glasgow including the Glasgow "tobacco lords". Today these are mainly bars, restaurants and high end shops and residences.
