Sad looking advent calendar

This time last year my advent calendar looked like this. But I am now on a diet (have lost almost 4 stone since starting slimming world in February), so my advent calender is bare! I have been trying to think of something I can hang on the loops, other than chocolate, but have failed to think of anything.
